Hi I’m Andrea! I am a booknook craftsman. Discovering the medium of booknooks was a lightbulb moment for me. As a lifelong lover of fantasy, crafting these tiny worlds feels like a way to bring a touch of magic into my own home. Creating these miniature pieces brings me so much joy and I am so excited to share them with you!

It’s been a while but I’m still over here crafting! Every week I have “post some new videos” on my to-do list and yet, it hasn’t happened 🙈. Maybe it’s perfectionism, maybe it’s something else 🤷‍♀️. I’ve still been working on some great pieces in the meantime that I can’t wait to share! This is my 2024 embroidery journal so far. I was about 4 months behind at one point but the great thing about this design is that it is easy to catch up! I’m really glad that I went with a smaller design for this year’s journal. I’m going to be switching it up for 2025. It’s been a while since I have shared much here. I’m still crafting and making new art but I’ve found it hard to find the energy to edit and share my pieces. I’m hoping to come out of this hibernation soon and share more of what I’ve been working on! This piece is something that I have had in mind for a while. The green, mystical scene in the Cardigan music video caught my interest and I thought it would make a wonderful book nook! I kept the design of this nook a bit simpler(but still managed to have a few hiccups 😆) which was actually quite refreshing. Being a book nook artist is interesting because people often don’t even know what a book nook is 😂. I usually have to show someone a piece before they understand. I think calling them miniature dioramas just doesn’t do them justice 🙈. I do dabble in other art forms, but book nooks will always be special to me. What book nook would you want for your book shelf? Who knows..
